Made it out for my first sit Saturday afternoon. Saw 2 coyotes and a small 9 pointer. Didn't get a good look at him but he went by one of my cams an hour before he came behind me and rubbed a tree.
Been out a couple of times. Seen a four point, spike, and a few does. Have a couple of pics of shooters that I am huntinandhopin to catch up with at some point this season. Good luck and shoot straight.
I have only been out once, that was opening day. I am hitting it this weekend all weekend. I will miss the last weekend of October, but will hunt the Oct 31, Nov 1, 2, and 4.
Have been out a few times. Have not seen many. A 6 and a 9pt buck. A doe with a fawn and a lone doe have been my regulars. That's off a 30 acre farm.
Had a lease lost it. Scrambled around found a 40 I could lease. So I leased it.
It's mainly pasture with clover in it and about 8 acres of oaks along a creek. Surrounded by beans and corn still standing. Walked it found it was full of rubs and scrapes.
Set box in the field. Did a set in it tonight. From 5 til dark ended up seeing 19 does and 7 bucks. 1 was a nice 3 yo 10 pt. A couple 2 yo 8 pts. Rest were yearlings.
Lots of doe bumping, grunting and fighting.
Not sure how much I'll contribute this year but with the new spot it's looking up.
