Folks this is hard enough to keep track of without additional comments so please, please, please keep this thread open for only pics and entries.
There are 5 members per team. Every deer killed is worth points, which will be tallied and whichever team has the most points at the end of this year's deer season will win.
POINT SYSTEM:
Does are worth 1 point
Bucks are worth 1 point per antler point (1" min)
If you harvest the deer with a legal archery method, then you double your points. EX: you kill a Doe with a bow...you get 1x2=2 points and if you kill a 10 point buck with a bow...you get 10x2=20 points. Pretty simple.
No extra points will be given for ML or Turkey kills....
You must include your team name, method of harvesting, how many points, and of course a pic of your harvest...you being next to the harvest is highly recommended and not some photoshopped face in place of yours.
Any deer harvested/killed by the team, no matter what state, will count toward that teams points. But they must be a legal harvest. There is a 2 buck and 6 doe limit per team member (6 doe limit pertains to antlerless tags). You can enter 8 does if you choose to use your buck tags for does. And this contest is completely free to enter. And the winners will receive bragging rights for a full year.
This contest will pertain to all legal hunting methods in your state, it will begin Sept 07 th 2019 and will end January 15th 2019 - All entries must be posted no later that 11:59 p.m. on Jan. 16th 2019. Any legal buck may be entered from your state as long as it was taken during this year's season. So for example TN had an early August season, if you killed a buck then you may enter it.
This is a fun contest only...keep this in mind and I'll try to keep up with the entries.
