Any of you guys checked these out? Are they solid or cheaply made? Are they easily stolen off the back of your truck? Cost?

On my farm and gravel road I can't keep a regular tailgate latch working for 5 years, this would be jammed up in 6 months.

Looks overly complicated. My ford has a pullout step & a fold up handle to grab as you climb up & down. Orderd the same tailgate for my new truck

that guy in the video has no common sence. the half fold down, the guy is whinning about why not push the load in/ Have him do that with bags of mulch or concrete and let him rip the bags open, or cinder blocks.

It would make it easier then a Ford with a man-step to load a deer into the bed

When GM makes a tailgate handle that can last through the term of your loan maybe then someone should consider this debacle.

Fords ain't perfect but at least it'll last a lot longer than GM's. My 2017 don't even have a handle. Not sure if that's good or bad. It's hit a push button lock release like a hatchback.

I just bought one. New 2019 gmc. Love the truck, tailgate is no big deal. It is push button, seems to work well. Truck is awesome.

The step is actually very solid. I'm a big guy and no issues. Kinda nice when you have to get in.

Dodge has a hidden step, just slide your foot under the bumper and a step comes out. First you have to open the tail gate like a door for that to happen.

Only thing RAM has going for it is an in-line diesel. It’s called a Cummins. Nothing else really.
