Anyone have Any idea on how a boat like this handles a rough lake?
I am looking at these for my next boat. In fact if it was this winter i might would buy this one.
My shoalrunner on a rough lake not worth a dang.

In general inboard jets don't do that well on heavy chop.
Looks like a heck of a nice boat though!!

A friend has a 2072 predator with the 200 in it. Like backyard said it is not ideal but it will do it. We have run across mark twain in heavy chop from wind and a lot of wakes from boats. Been on the Mississippi with a strong south wind and those waves can get tricky but was never scared as the boat is solid to the core. And it would suck air only on massive waves. For the most part, it did pretty dang good. There is a learning curve going to a jet like this if you are used to a normal outboard..The boat will SLIDE rather than turn. I have an easy 200 with a 115 Yamaha and he can blow me out of the water. One thing is when at top speed the predator will "hop" a little which can be annoying but his predator is a basic one ordered for hard fishing. it is no thrills just fish so its lighter on the front end when gear and two fat boys are in the back. Friends will go ANYWHERE. Its a nice feeling to be able to run hard and not worry about smashing your outboard on anything. If the boat above was for sale when I bought my easy 200 I would have gotten the one above. There are advantages and disadvantages to running a boat like the one above but for a guy who likes to fish the advantages outweigh the bad. As far as skiing behind it my friend has never pulled a skier but you can give a person on a tube the ride of their life.

DagGummit Bean..... there's your in!! See if the neighbor will adopt you! If one or both show signs of not wanting to adopt..... just tell them it's only the summer months not the entire year!!! Good Luck!

BTW.... that's an awesome boat !!
