Hey guys and gals,

I was promoted to a new position last summer and haven't been on here as much as I'd like. I do stop by and check out how everybody's hunts have gone when I can. Congrats to all of you that scored.:cheers: My goal was to shoot my first elk with the bow this year and on Sept 14 I was lucky to stick a rag-horn 6x5 in the back country. My deer hunting was like a roller coaster. I was close to shooting my biggest whitetail ever....but things didn't work out. The last few times I went out, I didn't see any bucks that I wanted to shoot. Attached are some photo's of my last day of hunting for 2009. I hope these bucks make until next year. Well Montana's hunting season ended Sunday; So, I'm through until spring turkey and bear seasons.

Kinda hard to feel bad for someone that lives in Montana, and has the opportunity to hunt Elk, Mulies, whitetails, antelope, bears, etc, etc, etc....

I do appreciate any posts from up there though.... :2thumbsup:

Congrats on the Elk, and deer hunting up there really would make a person real picky about what they pull the trigger on. Especially since you only get one deer buck tag..... At least that's the way it used to be up there....:thinking:
