The guy went big time a few months ago and renamed it Midwest Guntrader. I only saw one of those for sale this morning but its price was $345 OBO...might be the same one.
I do think I remember a really nice one that was on the site last night but I don't see it now. Must have been sold. It has a nice customized stock on it.
The 1903 had sights mounted on the barrel, the 03A3s had peep sights in the rear, had a LOT of shortcuts done for manufacturing purposes (including the infamous 2 groove barrels, 1903s had four groove barrels), and some other minor changes. 03A3s had parkerized finishes, the 1903s were blued, stuff like that. The 1903s were a lot smoother to operate, too, but as a practical matter, the 03A3s were good rifles, just not as "finished" as the older brothers.

no just the link .. got to get it to my friend for his review. I guess there are more "sporterized" 03's that I thought there was.
i own one that is sporterized i inherited from my uncle never ben shot...cool rifle
