Ok in the past I use Rebar with 2 inch PVC Pipe strapped to it for Rod Holder. This has always worked well but they were close to the ground which I can no longer do.

Will longer Rebar about waste high sticking out of the ground work or will Fish just pull it out?

:D The Big Grin would just throw a Long Line with bunch of Hooks on it out.

If it's thick enough and deep enough it will get the job done well.:innocent:

Just use 2" PVC pipe about 5' long and a rubber mallet to drive it in the ground, should work fine.

I always used angle iron clamped to the pvc with the end cut to a point. Stand them almost straight up and your rod isn't going anywhere-as long as you're paying attention!

Just duct tape your rod to your wrist...and brace yourself for the strike. :cool2:

Funny I have set there half asleep holding a Rod until Fish Hits.

Usually let them pull until it looks like they could pull it in. Medium Heavy Rod with 30# Test Line.

:D The Big Grin could kiss her tail good bye.
