My custom rifle is finally finished and I was able to pick it up today. It is a pre-64 winchester model 70 action with a kreiger 24 inch custom barrel chambered in 284 winchester. The stock is exhibition grade walnut carved and checkered. Ebony for end and grip cap with Birdseye maple spacers. I think it turned out quite awesome. Now to get the Leopold VX6 scope with Boone and Crockett reticle mounted in the Talley one piece rings and bases and see how it shoots. [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

I figured it was one of the stock makers around Warsaw. They did a great job.:

Hulet is in his 80's and had an illness and a carpal tunnel surgery done while he had my rifle so there were some significant time delays. I dropped it off about a year ago.
