About your host........
Brad Gannaway is the owner and operator of Pro Outfitters, as well as owner and executive producer of Lodge Life TV. Brad has been a full time outfitter for the last 7 years. His love of the outdoors is shown in his commitment to Missouri Ducks Unlimited. He has held many positions in the organization over the years, most recently the District Chairman position. Brad is committed to providing quality hunts, even when the other duck clubs in the area are struggling. He takes it personal. Brad commands the respect of the area’s other hunters and trips to town usually involved inquires from others on why he has been so successful. Brad's success comes from working hard, he is up each morning before anyone else and is still working while the others are ready to call it a night. During the off season, Brad vigorously works at improving the quality of his trips by scouting, obtaining new properties, making improvements to the lodge, and exploring ways to satisfy his clients.
Trophy Whitetails
Pro Outfitters offers seasonal hunts in Missouri, Kansas and Nebraska with a variety of sporting methods, including muzzle loader, rifle and archery. For your convenience and safety, hunts are conducted primarily from tree stands and ground blinds. Hunters are welcome to bring their own stands or use the pre-located ladder stands set up by the Pro Outfitters staff. Our stands are checked and maintained during the season to insure their safety. Stand locations are strategically placed throughout the season, based on scouting and deer activity. Goose Hunts
The scene can be hypnotic to those who have not witnessed the staggering number of geese that take to the air on a Northwest Missouri morning. But the trance is soon broken by a group that has committed to your spread. It can be difficult not to spring from your lay-out blind early, but patience is soon rewarded............ Whistling wings cut through the dark sky. A splash in front of the blind announces the morning’s first arrivals. Others follow. A mallard hen bellows out her intentions from straight over head. The faint glow on the surface exposes additional ducks that have landed. More birds chatter as they approach. Finally the announcement is made: shooting is legal. Only seconds pass before the silhouettes of a dozens greenheads cup into the decoys. The hunt is on. Turkey Hunts
It’s thundering out in the woods, but the storm that is approaching struts smugly, dragging a long beard. As the huge gobbler comes into sight, the hunter’s heart races as he’s struggles to steady his shotgun. Off the end of the barrels he sees the proud bird puff up in full regalia, stretch its neck and bellow again. The sound resonates through the spring foliage. Your comfort is our passion. We understand that a good night's sleep and good eats are critical to the success of your hunt. The Roost provides a cozy base for up to 12 just minutes from the hunting. The smell of coffee and bacon frying may just wake you up in the morning before the alarm goes off. Nobody goes hungry at Pro Outfitters. One of the best parts of the trip is sitting around the living room or kitchen table, enjoying a drink, sharing the day's stories. You will have your own space down in the basement to store your gear and suit up each morning. The guides stay on site to tend to you every need, and with friendly wagging tails, Dallas, Drake or Jesse will help play host. Your dog is also welcome and will be treated like our own.
