6 found, 1 in a tree

:2thumbsup: Ol' Belle and I had a good time today!

I'll have to lay the horns out for a better picture later. The larger antlers are a matched set, and the there is a set of small ones too. 6 antlers total, and about 10 dead deer. Apparently, the deer are being shot from the road and left lay. The only one that was a buck was skull capped. I let the local game warden know about what we had found.

A lot of firsts today! First capped skull found. First turtle shell found while she hunting. First matched set. First shed stuck in a tree from the buck rubbing. (ATL below, it was half of the small match). First time seeing a rabbit swim across a pond. THAT was a sight!

Sweet day Parker...

I've only found 1 dead deer this year as opposed to at least 10 last year. The one I found this year was a spike buck on public ground.

We found no less than 10 today, one of them being a buck. Before that, we've found 4 does, 2 bucks with antlers, and 2 shed bucks. So, I guess that means we're up to 18 to 20.

These places are all spread out, and I'm sure some of those are highway kills too.

Today was more just to wearing it to get used to the weight of it for a longer period. The only time I'm using it right now when we are out is when she wants to jump on the landowners. And the very lowest setting works on her to get her attention.

She listens VERY well when we are out in the field.

Biggest thing we use it for right now is keeping her out of the road here at the house.
