20 ga. Charles Daley with Indian Creek choke and 1.75X Weaver scope. Originally bought this for my kids but I liked it so much I sold the 12 ga. and use this instead.

Remington 870 express 12 ga. with a super full trap rem-choke and a single front bead. 3" Winchester turkey loads (Can't remember which ones). A simple, well worn turkey killer is all it is. The finish is coming off the wood from several years worth of insect repellent and there's a little rust in a couple of places from years of crawling through wet weeds, grass and leaves. It gets used and abused. I keep thinking I should buy a fancy turkey sight or a fancier choke tube, or maybe even give it a spiffy camo paint job, but then I remind myself that I've dropped every bird I've shot at with that thing. I just see no reason to change what works for me. :D

I shoot a 12 gauge TC Encore with a TC extra full choke. Sight is a Bushnell Trophy 1x28 red dot on a Warne Maxima one piece rail. Shell is 3" #5 Winchester Super X High Velocity. The shell has won the NWTF still target championship four years in a row. (40 yard pattern competition). When patterning this rig I used my range finder to verify having a 40 yard shot. It routinely puts 7-10 pellets in the brain or spine of a Shoot n See Turkey target. It does kick like a mule, but it has great reach. I set my decoys at 25 yards for yardage estimation. Toms do not flop around, they just anchor to the ground.

I'm in the same boat, just got my 935 tonight.

Thats what I like about these threads. There's been a few 935 setups on here already. Gives us an idea where to start.:cheers:

Indeed. Im real excited about my new turkey gun. I think its a shooter and will be just what I been wanting in a turkey gun. Im thinking a Jellyhead choke. I like the lead loads mostly cause I have no interest in taking long shots. I like em close. If I can't call em in I don't wanna kill em. I want to try the Winchester Elites out of it. Maybe Porter can tell me somethin.:wave:

Mossberg 835, Knoxx adjustable stock, Red-dot sight, jellyhead choke.

Took me 2 years to get this gun the way I wanted it for turkeys. After saving up for the stock, it was worth the wait.

2 boxes of 3" mags, and I didnt feel a thing. Dig it! :cheers::cheers:

As it will be in the future, it was at the birth of Man
There are only four things certain since Social Progress began.
That the Dog returns to his Vomit and the Sow returns to her Mire,
And the burnt Fool's bandaged finger goes wabbling back to the Fire;

And that after this is accomplished, and the brave new world begins
When all men are paid for existing and no man must pay for his sins,
As surely as Water will wet us, as surely as Fire will burn,
The Gods of the Copybook Headings with terror and slaughter return!
