I shoot a Ross which came with the WC strings. Can't knock the string, they are very good. They are also over priced in my opinion.
Vapor Trail strings I have never used but their reputation seems to be very good. I have done some research and they use their own string material and shipping time for custom strings is very short. About $75 from what I have been hearing with your choice of colors.
I have used the Bucknasty strings on more than one ocassion and will probably reorder them for my Ross when needed. I currently have a set on my Mathews and honestly I can not tell the difference from the WC strings on the Ross. Shipping may take a bit longer but an excellent string in my opinion. Cost $60 string and cables.
Two quick examples, 8125 is a bit faster string than the 452x. Both if prestretched have very little peep rotation after being shot in. The 452x material is a bit slower but more durable and has more resistance to drastic heat changes. In my opinion 8125 would be better for those shooting 3d and 452 would be a better all around "general purpose" string.
Basically CP, it all goes back to the ole "Individual prefrence".
baracuda strings are junk. i agree buckwacker, i shoot a switchback, and have had two winners choice, and lovem. never shot a vapor trail and probly never will. probly comes down to personal preference .
I've put thousands of shots through my barracuda strings and have absolutely no complaints whatsoever.
If I were going with custom strings I think both that are mentioned would perform equally as well. Another difference between string makers is coatings that are used on the loops and other little details like that.
