Default What percentage of hunters bait in MO???

Alright here is the deal, I scouted/trespassed an area with no less than 5 different properties and 5 feeders with 5 stands or blinds 20 yards away! Very disheartening that so many people feel the need to cheat! Is this an isolate pocket of cheaters?

I admit I was trespassing while scouting so I can find what properties to seek permission to hunt, was it wrong yes I admit that but what a bunch of flat cheaters!

Some will say that doesn't prove they were hunting over bait, but not buying it!

Do you think hunting over bait happens more than we think? Surely, foodplot haters will chime in here, but I am talking about illegal methods of baiting (not the whole ludicrous comparison between foodplots and corn piles).

We'll find out the truth if the Local Agnt cares to follow up this Fall!

I bait until I can't bait, then I start again.

I guarantee you that I frown on trespassing a million times more than I frown on baiting though.

How do you know if they had feed in the feeders when it was season?

A trespasser worried about a baiter?

I think it happens more than you want to believe, but thats just my

In my particular case, I dont do it, cause killin a deer just aint that important. But I dont care who does....

Lemme clarify that a little. If I'm hunting on someone's private ground, and I saw a bait pile, I'd tell the landowner, but thats as far as Id take it. It'd be up to them to do whatever they wanted, its their land, not mine. Anything more than that, could cause a WHOLE bunch of problems, and it isnt my place....more

I would estimate that 95% of the hunters are baiters.

And probably 50 or 60% of those are illegal baiters.

How many of those are also trespassers?
