Default CCW and Bowhunting in MO

I know that as of last year you were required to have a CCW to carry while bowhunting. With the law changed last year on CCW in MO, will that still be the case or will you be able to carry a pistol for your own protection w/o needing a CCW.

I know I've run into some shady folks out in the woods, so I always feel better having something just in case. It would be nice to know if we need to go thru the process of getting a CCW just to do that.

I know the commission was going to address the new law (I believe to make it where you did not need a concealed carry permit to carry while archery hunting). I haven't seen if that has taken place yet. Look for it to happen but check the regs or ask here again prior to season to be sure.
