Default pedersoli .44 percussion-what did I get?

Was doing some wheeling and dealing last night.Got it for a display, then started to think about getting everything to shoot it.After looking, now thinking about just trading it...but ...I don't know what I have and its value.

(insert worthless without pics emoji)

Anyways, its a .44 percussion, best I can tell its a basic Kentucky style, don't think its maple wood...but its pretty.Have the box,and it looks like cutouts in the styrofoam for accs.,but the only thing it has is the wooden ramrod/cleaner.

I'm looking at it with a flashlight and magnifying glass.

Barrel is stamped with pedersoli..a triangle with DAV inside.........black powder only followed by cal.44...and made in Italy above it.47 stamped inside of the bottom of trigger guard.

L'm not great at google, but found a few things close to it.Any tips what else to look for to narrow it down?I can take a pic on my phone and text it.

Thinking about taking it to a gun store I go to and trading it for ammo,credit,cash,whatever..or just keeping it..I don't know...I know what I paid for it...just don't want to give it away though.

Got the text photos and to me it looks to be a kit gun (one you build yourself) by the cut outs in the foam in the box. Those cut outs are for the metal pieces of the pistol. I've looked at Pedersoli website and in kit guns in Kentucky style percussion it doesn't come in .44 caliber but that's today and it may have been available in the past.

Photos were pretty blurry but you can get the basic idea what Cook has to play with.

Thanks,MM.
Took it to "my" gunshop today and looked it over with him.Best we could tell from some websites,it came as a factory assembled and engraved gun,not the kit,but wasn't 100% positive. It has never been fired.Gunbroker prices were all over the place.
It will probably end up in a display case/shadow box.

I suspect it's fairly old as a modern replica and I'd guess 1970's. I say that because I remember back then Pedersoli did offer a Kentucky Pistol in 44 cal. It was never very popular as one needed a rather uncommon .430 ball. 99% of the 45's used a .440 or .445 and 44 revolvers required at least a .451 with .454 being better and .457 better yet.

I have onw just like that but its a mini me in the form of a drerringer. In 440 cap and ball it looks just like that gun just a smaller version.. I do believe though mine is a thompson or cva never been fired.. it was on of my first kit guns and I was 12 when I tackled it ..
