Default Is this reel worth the price?

No way I could buy this but I did see it on their website. How can this particular reel be any better than my 30 year old 5500?

Regular price......$875.00

Sale price........$656.25

dats pretty looks more like a collectors reel, kind of like a trailer queen of cars,, you know, the kind where they push it off the trailer and push it back on when the show is over...

I still have a few 5000c from back in the day and always took of the factory crank off and put the big Lindy crank handle on them.

My 5500C is missing the handle lock plate and the screw that holds it on.

Twice now I've ordered the replacement part from eReplacementParts.com and gotten the wrong cover both times. The same handle nut cover on my 4600C fits the 5500C so I just swap them out if I choose to fish with one over the other.
