Probably depend on what's stamped on the barrel. You will get several opinions when it comes to this topic. The way I understand it is if the barrel is stamped for 5.56 you can shoot 223 and 5.56. If stamped 223 then it's "suggested" that you only shoot 223... I believe it has to do with the variance of pressures between the to 2 rounds.

With the Wylde chamber you can fire .223 ammo without giving up accuracy and 5.56 ammo without worrying about excess pressures .

All correct. Shoots .223 and .556, fun shooter. I need gone asap though. I have a bowfishin tourney coming up in April and my current bow might not make it through. So 725$ cash takes it!!
