My Grandfather introduced me to hunting at an early age of 10. I was allowed to shoot a few squirrels and a rabbit or two before then but was not allowed to hunt on my own.

Deer hunting was introduced to me at age 13 (First solo trip). I was hooked right away. The values that were instilled in me by my grandfather are still with me today. I continue to hunt as I was taught, for food-not for trophy.

I started Turkey hunting in 1986. What a thrill! I have been blessed with an abundance of good folks and fellow hunters to help teach me a sport, which at the very least---is exciting every time I get out in the field. Turkey hunting is a thrill all its own and being in the outdoors and attempting to outwit these critters well-----you know what I am talking about.

I started fishing alongside my grandfather long before I can remember. He had stocked ponds with bluegill and catfish. Cane pole and bobber were the ticket. I went thru the tournament fishing part of my life back in the 80’s and 90’s. As soon as I started fishing for the enjoyment, my perspective fell into place. I enjoy fishing for Bass, Crappie, Walleye, Cats, and Spoons and just about anything that will allow me to get to the outdoors.
