"2005 3D Bow Shoot"
On June 4th, 2005, MissouriWhitetails.com and their members held their 1st annual 3D Bow Shoot benefit for their "Hunters with Disabilities" program. Our host for this event was Randy Ward of "In The Sticks" archery and outfitters. Our thanks to Randy and his staff for allowing us to use his fantastic range for this shoot. They truly have a first class range and really rolled out the red carpet for us. These guys and gals are great people to be associated with and provide a great place for both indoors and outdoors bow shooting.
About 40 shooters, some from as far away Iowa and Kansas, signed in for the event despite tornado warnings and heavy thunder showers at the range early that morning. The showers soon passed and the day turned out to be a great one. There were 6 classes of shooters and the range consisted of 16 targets. Trophies were presented for first and second place in each class. Trophies were donated by MissouriWhitetails and their forum members. A drawing was held for door prizes donated by the following businesses.
